Food Design Lab Team

The Food Design Lab research team is composed of:

Dr Dolly Daou
Design Lab Director, Designer, specialized in Interior Design

Holding a doctorate in Interior Architecture and Urban Design, graduated from University of South Australia (Adelaide, Australia), Dr Dolly Daou has joined L’École de design in June 2018 as the Food Design Lab Director. With a 17-year experience in teaching and research, especially at Swinburne University (Melbourne, Australia), her career has led her to work in France, Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Bahrain and New York. Native of Lebanon and fluent in 3 languages, Dr Dolly Daou has actively collaborated to many international and multi-disciplinary projects, maintaining strong alliances between industries and international associations.

Senior Lecturer in marketing, lecturer/researcher in food consumption habits at Université de Nantes (Institute of Economy and Management) IAE.

Research topic: food consumption habits, food design perception.

A network of experts participates in the various courses and projects: philosophers, semiologists, chefs, designers, engineers, etc.
