Herakles by Clément Grant Smith Bianchi
84% of the population trust the French army to intervene in the event of a terrorist attack (Ministry of the Armed Forces). How does one create a vehicle which is environmentally friendly, suitable for military usage and integrated in the urban context?
Herakles arose from this initial line of enquiry. It is an armoured vehicle, similar to a minibus, designed by Clément for Renault. It has a low impact on the environment and blends into the urban setting. Understated and comfortable, it has increased visibility of the outside world thanks to its peripheral windows. The vehicle is more engaging than a traditional military vehicle and encourages a closer link between passers-by and the army.
