Christian Guellerin, general director of L’École de design Nantes Atlantique and Julie Joly, general director of École W formalized their partnership and announced this morning the launch of a joint program ‘Master of Science in International Brand Design & Storytelling’ from January 2022. Co-accredited by the Conférence des Grandes Écoles, this MSc represents a real opportunity to combine design and communication in an international context, between Paris and Shanghai.
April 8th 2021 - Julia Kunkel, new director of the Food Design Lab at L’École de Design Nantes Atlantique
Originally from Berlin, Julia Kunkel trained in product design and worked for 17 years for major players in the food industry, product design and transportation. As an expert in global branding, she wishes to pass on her love of food design, her in-depth knowledge of branding issues, trends and the industrial world to students. Julia Kunkel believes in sustainable food, which is respectful of the world and of people, committed and in harmony with our contemporary lifestyles. Her leitmotif? Being the source of future visions.
March 31st 2021 - In 2021, L’École de design Nantes Atlantique celebrates 20 years of digital design
Between April and September 2021, L’École de design Nantes Atlantique will celebrate 20 years of digital design. Over these 6 months, the school will be focusing on the highlights of its development in this field, highlighting its expertise, its training courses and all the players in this sector.
December 3rd 2020 - Beirut identity: a competition to rebuild Beirut initiated by L’École de design Nantes Atlantique, the Campus des agricultures ESA Angers and the Cumulus association.
Following the tragic events that took place in Lebanon in August 2020 with the destruction of the port of Beirut and part of the city, L’École de design Nantes Atlantique, the Campus des Agricultures ESA, Angers, sponsored by the Cumulus Association and Open Future Foundation decided to act and launch the Beirut Identity contest for the reconstruction of Beirut. The competition is open until 18 December 2020 to professionals, as well as students from multidisciplinary backgrounds, including food, business, urban design, architecture and design. The winners will be announced on 19 March 2021 and will work directly with NGOs in Lebanon to make their project a reality.
L’École de design Nantes Atlantique takes advantage of Montreal Digital Spring and the arrival of an important delegation from Nantes to officially inaugurate the Studio Montréal, the fourth international studio dedicated to design and entrepreneurship housed in the Centech building.
