L’ École de design Nantes Atlantique is proud to present the 2008 special issue of its research journal called CADI. This number is comprised of six interviews with experts in different fields of activities who supervised some of our fifth-year students’ final projects. All of them address significant contemporary issues. In this issue you will find interviews with Frédéric Kaplan - a researcher in artificial intelligence at the École Polytechnique de Lausanne (Lausanne Polytechnic Institute) who wrote several prospective-oriented books - Annie Hubert - an anthropologist specializing in eating habits - Pascale Gauthier - an expert in pharmacology - Marie-Thérèse Neuilly - a sociologist focusing on disasters - Gaël Guilloux - a researcher in eco-design at the ARDI (Agency for Development and Innovation in the Rhône-Alpes region, France) and Bruno Bachimont - Head of Scientific Affairs at the French National Institute (INA.)
This special issue of CADI is entirely bilingual and meant to be distributed on a worldwide scale.
Next issues : number 2 dedicated to “Co-design” to be released in January 2009 and 2009 special issue to be released in Spring 2009.
