In January 2022, L’École de design Nantes Atlantique will open its first Master of Science (MSc), the MSc International Brand Design & Storytelling, in partnership with École W.
This new program, open to students who have four years of study in the media, journalism or design fields, is taught entirely in English and aims to train them to carry out intercultural projects, create innovative solutions and work in interdisciplinary and international teams.
Program recognized by the Conférence des Grandes Écoles (CGE)
The MSc International Brand Design & Storytelling is a level 7 diploma accredited by the French accreditation body "Conférence des Grandes Écoles". This program of excellence will allow students to acquire a high level of specialized professional education resolutely oriented towards international markets.
To obtain the CGE accreditation, the program must meet stringent criteria relating to its structure, recruitment methods, pedagogical approach, international opening, links with the business world, student and educational support.
A professional program
Thanks to a project-oriented pedagogy, students will benefit from the expertise of professionals in order to develop their management and project management skills which they will apply during a 4-month internship.The opportunity to do an internship in an international company will further strengthen this professional dimension.
L’École de design Nantes Atlantique and l’École W both have solid databases as well as numerous contacts that will facilitate the search of future students in this program. Upon graduation, students will be real assets for companies, responding to their new needs and challenges in terms of international communication and brand strategy. They will be able to hold positions such as Brand Content Designer, Communication Director or Social Media Manager to name a few.
The formation is supported by big names in the world of design and communication. These many supporters all attest to the quality and necessity of creating a new training program that will combine brand design and communication/storytelling.
An international formation between Paris and Shanghai
The MSc International Brand Design & Storytelling taught between two continents will allow these future professionals to acquire a double expertise of the French and Chinese markets while developing their ability to work in a multicultural and international context.
This one-year program offers the opportunity to take three months of classes in Paris, France, at l’École W, in order to strengthen the students’ knowledge of storytelling and communication. Studying in France will allow them to take part in events and projects in a context of strong cultural and commercial news for companies and brands present on the French market.
Afterwards, the students will continue their formation in Shanghai, China, the world capital of innovation, within the China Studio of L’École de design Nantes Atlantique. Shanghai is the cradle of new brands and designers as well as the city where new forms of communication and interaction between brands and customers are born.
