Guillaume Delvigne can draw inspiration from anything!
Guillaume Delvigne knew he wanted to make a career of it when he attended the open day at L’École de design as a secondary school pupil. He graduated from L’École de design in 2002, then carried out an exchange program at Politecnico di Milano followed by an internship again in Milan before starting his career in Italy. Based in Paris since 2004, his clients range from publishers to industry, mass retail or the luxury market. As a result, in recent years he has designed saucepans for Tefal, vases for Hermès and furniture for La Redoute. His creations allow scope for poetry so that they are meaningful yet always tailored to user needs.
During a visit to the school for the announcement of single Master’s degree results in mid-September 2018, we had the chance to ask him a few questions. Patron of the class of 2018, he will be guest of honor at L’École de design’s graduation ceremony on 14 December 2018.
