Design L’Expo: Design, a process of innovation, November 28th 2015 – January 20th 2016
The approach of future designers is highlighted through the exhibition of innovative projects and life scenarios as potential innovations in our daily life. L’École de design Nantes Atlantique thus reveals design beyond its aesthetic aspect.
As a professional school of design, L’École de design Nantes Atlantique considers design as a process of innovation. Thus, the teaching activities of master programs are based around topic-oriented MDes programs which give frameworks allowing students to think and experiment. The topic-based Master’s programs represent virtuous ecosystems clustering research, courses (possible double degrees with the IAE-IEMN de l’Université de Nantes, Arts et Métiers ParisTech, Polytech Nantes and Télécom Bretagne) and companies, design being the core dynamic element of the innovative process.
The 19 exhibited projects of the class of 2015, sponsored by Matali Crasset, show the quality and diversity of disciplines:
- Sustainable Cities
- Digital Culture
- Transcultural Design
- Care
- New Eating Habits
- Design and innovation management in apprenticeship
Design L’Expo is shown on l’Île de Nantes at the Cale 2 Créateurs. During the two months of the exhibition, visitors will have the possibility to vote for the most innovative project (#voxdesign).
