Health insurance

In France, enrollement in higher education leads to membership in students social security scheme. It’s the school reponsibility. This membership depends on student’s age and parent’s socio-professional category.

During administrative registration, students will have to choose their social security center (LMDE or SMEBA). For the academic year 2017-2018, the flate –rate contribution is 217 €. This Share is collected by the school and transfered to health insurance.

EUROPEAN STUDENTS
If you already have health insurance coverage in your country, you do not need to sign up for the French State health insurance. In this case, you must bring your European health insurance card.
Students who are not covered will need to sign up for the “sécurité sociale” (French governement insurance).
At your arrival , the school’s international office will help you to sign up.

NON- EUROPEAN STUDENTS
Students from all other countries will be enrolled in France. They must be aged under twenty eight (28) Years old. You will find more informations about this, going on this link : “sécurité sociale” (French governement insurance) .
