New Eating Habits Master programs in Design (MDes)

The New Eating Habits Design Lab is a project driven workshop and a research laboratory dedicated to food systems. The Design Lab team develops a design-based innovation process through an MDes program, experimental projects and partnerships.

The Food Design program is only open for students who have completed successfully their undergraduate studies at L’École de design, and the MDes Food Design & Brand program is specially tailored for students from all over the world who want to join our MDes.

MDes New Eating Habits / Food Design

The New Eating Habits Design Lab focuses on an emerging discipline: Food Design, including the food system, food design and its anthropological approach.
Within this program, designers explore innovation projects and new concepts.

MDes New Eating Habits / MDes Food Design & Brand

Food is a personal, a social and a cultural practice which allows us to express our individual and our communal identity.

This program offers an inter and a multidisciplinary approach to food design which includes design, anthropology, socio-economy, marketing, agro-engineering and ecology through industry projects and national and international competitions. Students will be able to work directly with the industry on a real food design brief gaining a relevant industry experience.
